Taga Convertible Bicycle
This Dutch designed bike converts to a stroller or a cart in a matter of seconds. It folds up and is light weight. As far as accessories are concerned, there will be plenty, including a car seat adapter, shopping basket and even a seat to hold two children. I don’t see this convertible bicycle making it to the USA anytime soon, considering your stringent safety regulations (at least that hasn’t been de-regulated yet). You can always leave it to the Dutch to be innovative and original. This bike is not yet available, hopefully soon. TAGA

Mini Micro Scooters
Every time my 3 year old see’s a scooter, she wants to ride it. I feel she’s too young for a scooter. Well, Micro now makes a scooter for the pre-school set. This scooter is designed with 3 wheels which provides better stability then it’s 2 wheel cousin. The kickboard is large and low-to-the- ground to make it easier for little ones to hop on and off, and the handle bar height is shorter. The polyurethane wheels glide smoothly and are quiet. I’m still a bit nervous about letting my little one ride a scooter, but this one may make me re-think my position. If she has a helmet on, what’s the worst that can happen, a broken bone or two? Ball Jointed Dolls
Ball jointed what? you say. Yes you heard right, ball jointed dolls. Also known as BJD, they are the latest craze in doll collecting. These are dolls that are articulated with ball and socket joints. They mostly come from Japan and South Korea. There’s about half a dozen manufacturers of the dolls. These are not your run of the mill Barbie dolls. They can cost upwards of $800.00, depending on the accessories and customizable parts purchased. You can easily replace the eyes and hair with wigs. I am not much of a doll fan, but I must say, these are beautiful. Available at IPLEHOUSE and other sites.
