Paul Frank Watches
The choice of watches for kids is usually limited to characters such as Dora the Explorer, Thomas the Train, Barbie and a slew of other dorky characters. Let’s face it, most of them are ugly. I’ve finally found some that look really cool. Paul Frank Industries strikes again with Julius the monkey and their smart designs. PAUL FRANK

UberArc Construction Kit
This is one of the coolest building sets I have seen in a long time. The UberArc Construction kit is great for kids age 10 and up. In the kit, they get real blueprints to build a skyscraper or they can design their own. Kids apply for a building permit online at the UberArc website. The building permit will show them the seismic and wind loads for their proposed skyscraper. I’ve seen one built at Puzzle Zoo in Costa Mesa, Ca. This thing can reach almost 8 feet tall. This is for kids with a lot of patience that pay attention to detail, not for my kids for sure. I can already picture the screaming and frustration and pieces of UberArc all over the floor. UBERARC

Jamie Rae Hats
How sweet are these! This children’s hat company was started by a mother whose own children had very little hair until the age of two. She was unhappy with the fit of most baby hats and decided to design her own. Now you can find them in children’s boutiqes and Nordstroms across the country or at JAMIERAEHATS.COM

Tanners Tasty Paste
When looking for a more natural toothpaste for kids, the choices out there are few. Tanners Tasty Paste was created by Pediatric Dentist, Janelle Holden. Her goal was to make a toothpaste that makes brushing teeth a pleasant experience for kids. This stuff tastes great. There’s 3 flavors to choose from, Banilla Bling, Cha Cha Chocolate, and my favorite Blingsicle, which tastes like Orange and Vanilla ice cream. There’s no artificial colors, flavors, Saccharin or Sodium Lauryl Sulfate in Tanners Tasty Paste and best of all, your kids will look forward to brushing their teeth. For the little ones, they make Baby Bling, which is fluoride free, so it’s safe to swallow. My 2 year old loves brushing her teeth. The only problem I have is keeping the toothpaste away from her when it’s not time to brush. This stuff tastes so good, she wants to eat it. The whole line of toothpaste tastes like ice cream. The Un-Diaper Bag of the Week
I love the Orla Kiely Sling Bags! They are laminated for easy clean up, have a zip pocket, cell phone pocket and key chain inside. The Magnet closure makes access quick and easy. The best thing about this bag other than the modern styling is that you can wear it as a shoulder bag or across the body. I bought mine in Amsterdam after seeing many women wearing theirs on Scooters and bicycles. Wearing it across your body frees up your hands for more important things. This bag is also light weight. Available at OLIEBOLLEN
